Tom Smith started his career with Patterson Fan Company as a founding employee in 1991. He is a very dedicated, dependable, hard-working man–the type of individual you want to work with. Tom comes to us from the great state of Michigan, with a degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University–CMU. He is an integral part of what makes Patterson Fan such a great company. Tom Smith’s professional career experiences–when it comes to ventilation situations of all areas; including manufacturing, hot processes, product drying, employee cooling, warehouse cooling, fume exhaustion, condensation control–you name it, he has experienced it–has gained him the knowledge to fix it. Helping the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Jo Anna Rodgers, from Patterson Fan’s ventilation team, has brought breast cancer awareness to Patterson Fan. Breast cancer, as you know, affects women of all ages. The younger this disease appears, the more virulent it seems to be. Men are not immune either. Jo Anna keeps a steady supply of Pink Medley M&Ms on her desk. Last month, as requested by Jo Anna, Patterson Fan Ventilation donated a portable evaporate cooler to a very special local charity auction.  Presented by the Chickawa Club, this silent auction raised over $10,000.00.  Called, “Help Fuel the Fight against Breast Cancer,” it was held on September 10th, 2009 at the posh Saluda River Club in Lexington SC. The event was hosted by SCE&G Electrical Coop and 100% of the proceeds benefited the First Ladies’ Walk for Life. Patterson Fan was happy that the evaporative cooler brought in over $175.00.

Patrick Finnigan began his career with Patterson Fan in February 2001. Patrick came to Patterson Fan with a background in facility management and utilized his experience  establishing Patterson Fan’s GSA account. The winning combination of Randy’s excellent work ethic, intelligence and attention to detail makes him a standout at Patterson Fan. Always quick with a smile and a warm welcome in the mornings, Randy is an integral part of our Patterson Fan Team – joining us in December of 2005. Randy is easy to talk to and has a dry, enduring wit. His sport of choice: baseball.

Know that guy who is always upbeat? Always has a smile and asks how you  are doing? The guy you actually like running into in the break room? That guy is Shawn Rodgers. If you are lucky enough to be in;  Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Washington or Wyoming – he is your Patterson Fan representative. Yes, Shawn manages a lot of states and is good at it.

Customer service comes naturally to Shawn along with an excellent understanding of air flow management.  Shawn knows what it takes to make your facility run at its optimum environmental comfort level –while saving you money on energy costs– going green.

Shawn is one of the founders of Patterson Fan’s unofficial ”breakfast biscuit club.” Shawn enjoys  breakfast biscuits with his fellow sales buddies every Friday.

Shawn graduated Horry-Georgetown Technical College located in Myrtle Beach SC with a degree in Agriculture Technology empathizing on golf course management.  Prior to joining the Patterson family, Shawn worked in the golf course industry where he first was introduced Patterson’s fans.  Shawn will tell you, he used Patterson Fans on his golf greens to keep them healthy. Labor Day is a celebration  for every hard working American and is the only holiday not centered around a particular person or event. It is our day! Labor day was first celebrated in New York on September 5, 1883. The following year Labor Day moved to the first Monday of September. Many of us celebrate Labor Day as summer’s end.

Dave Like, his name says it all! What’s not to like? Dave is our Patterson Fan representative for the states of Iowa, Kentucky, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Dave is one of those good guys you can always count on. Never late, with an excellent work ethic — utilizing perseverance during these interesting economic times – Dave is always able to come up with the right air movement solution for his customer’s demanding needs.

Dave graduated from the University of Southern Indiana-good ole’ USI! Go Eagles! Dave enjoys weekend afternoons when he can kick back and watch football. Favorite team–the Colts. And basketball? I U of course! Indiana University. He also enjoys a round of golf-when he can fit it in to his busy schedule. Patterson Fan is happy to have Dave Like on our team.

Patterson Fan Company donated two pedestal base 14″ high velocity fans this past July to the Moore Humane Society Animal Shelter in Southern Pines, NC. The Moore shelter is not part of the government, receives no government funding and practices “no-kill” philosophies. Moore’s goal to provide pets with loving homes is a big one, obviously.  Patterson Fan is happy to be able to provide cool comfort to the pets while they wait for adoption.
Below is an excerpt from Moore’s thank you letter addressed to Jo Anna Rodgers (our ventilation specialist) received August 13, 2009:

“Your contribution helps us provide the best possible care for the lost, sick injured, abused and abandoned animals of Moore County. Please rest assured that your donation will be put to good use and that the Humane Society will continually strive to improve its services to both the citizens of Moore County and its homeless animals.”
